Second Recall Of
The Levites
By
Prophet Hananiah,
Prophet Mishael
And
Prophet Azariah
Second Recall
Hananiah: Nehemiah discovered that everybody has relaxed. The walls of Jerusalem were broken and fallen down. Nobody was concerned with rebuilding the walls. Everybody was busy building himself a small house (na alukọnutara onwe ya obere unọ). Their hearts became cold towards God and the Temple.
Iron Hand
Hananiah: What humanity need is a controller, who shall be pouring fire into them, a commander who is not relaxing in his leadership, so that the people will keep on moving. But where there is no controller, everybody would relax and feel less concerned.
When it seems as if people are going to relax, he will pour in more fire, make enforcements and encourage the people. But where there is no controller, no leader, people relax and feel less concerned.
It was because Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach And Abednego were not among them. So, they felt reluctant. After all, for many years, they felt that,
“Nobody is giving us advice.
Nobody is telling us, ‘God said this and God said that.’
So, let everybody rest.”
Hananiah: And Nehemiah said the same thing that Daniel had said, “All the Israelites from the tribe of Levi have to stop working outside the Temple. ” When Nehemiah returned, he discovered that the tribe of Levi were actively engaged in farming, and were even the landlords of the farmlands. They were even the best and greatest farmers.
That was because they suffered hunger, severe hunger, in the Temple, to the extent that resigned from Temple duties, and started to look for work to do, in order to have food to eat. But it was not like that at the time of Holy Moses.
Some of the Levites went into fishing, in various forms. Some went into trade work, business. Merchants were coming and the Israelites were buying goods from them.
Breaking The Laws Of Sabbath
Hananiah: Son of man, until the Levites joined in breaking the Sabbath. On the Sabbath Eve, merchants from various nations of the world came to Jerusalem to buy and sell. The Jerusalem gate was always open, wide open, for business transactions, with free entry and free exit, always.
Head: And the Israelites were doing all things, which God did not want.
Hananiah: Even so from evening to evening, from day to day and from year to year.
